Forspoken is an action-based, role-playing game, which follows the journey of Frey, who has been transported to the land of Athia, where she has to use her magical powers to get back home. Mutants are bosses that you can choose to engage with (though not required), but they are well-worth contending with to get their rewards. If you need help learning how to defeat the Altered Nunda Mutant Boss in Forspoken, we have a helpful guide to winning the battle!
Altered Nunda Mutant Guide
You can engage with the Altered Nunda by heading to The Mustering Ground or the Path of Glory in Praenost; you will find two available to encounter in The Mustering Ground. You will also find two of these in Visoria in Shepherd’s Meadow and Visorian Plateau. The Altered Nunda is resistant to Frey’s magic, so you will want to make sure to have another type, such as Sila’s Magic, which it is neutral to, in order to be effective in combat.
How to defeat Altered Nunda in Forspoken
The battle requires a lot of movement on your part–you’ll need to dodge and evade the heavy attacks made by this aggressive enemy when it comes barreling across the battlefield. You’ll want to use either Arc Slice or Rage Slice while using Crucible to boost your damage. If you have access to Olas’ Magic, you can also use Pulse Dart to deal more ranged damage.
Specifically, for the mutants in The Mustering Ground, you will want to deal with the additional enemies that both have at the start. You will encounter either Argentavis (use Disperse to dispatch them) and Thylacoleo (use Conflagration or Tempest). The Altered Nunda found at the Path of Glory is alone so it is an easier encounter. Don’t forget to have Healing Draughts on hand to ensure you can heal yourself during battle!
The Altered Nunda mutants all drop four Welkind Garlands when defeated.
