Forspoken is an action-based, role-playing game, which follows the journey of Frey, a New Yorker who has been transported to the stunning, yet torturous, land of Athia, and she has to use her magical powers to cross the land and get back home. If you’re trying to figure out how to fast travel in Forspoken, we have the answer!
How to Fast Travel
To fast travel in Forspoken, you can utilize Pilgrims Refuges and Belfry Towers. You’ll need to discover Pilgrims Refuges, which are rest stops where Frey can regain health or visit with her familiars that she has caught while out and about in Athia. After you’ve discovered and entered the Refuge, you’ll be able to select the location on the map and select ‘yes’ to confirm you want to travel to that Refuge. You will see Refuges marked on your map as a house icon.
Belfry Towers are tall, column-like buildings that are unlocked just by walking near one, and it enables Frey to fast travel to any discovered Belfry Towers. These are denoted on the map as a small tower icon.
How to Unlock Fast Travel
Thankfully, you will not need to unlock any particular skill, you’ll just need to discover your first Refuge (like an inn) or Belfry Tower, and then you’ll be able to start fast traveling between all discovered Refuges (remember to enter them!) and Belfry Towers.
Forspoken makes fast travel particularly easy–you can initiate it from just about any place, any time during the game, even if you’re falling. You cannot fast travel while you’re in combat or during a quest, though.
