Senior guard Grant Sherfield leads the charge averaging a team-high 15.5 points and 4.8 assists per game while also chipping in 3.5 rebounds per game. His frontcourt counterpart Tanner Groves is averaging a double-double with 10.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game.

The Cornhuskers are also 3-1, like Oklahoma, in the Big Ten. They won the first two games of the season against Nebraska Omaha and Maine before dropping their first game of the season against St. John’s. They bounced back last week and secured a win over AR Pine Bluff leading into this game.
Sherfield will be matched up with Nebraska’s Sam Griesel. Griesel is averaging 13.3 points and 4.3 assists per game which is leading the team in both categories.
