Coming into the second round from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, there is a three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard. Min Woo Lee, Jason Scrivener and John Lyras are all tied at six-under-par after the first round at the 2022 Fortinet Australian PGA Championship. The leaderboard is about as congested as possible after the first round with five more golfers right in the mix at five-under-par, just a stroke back. That group is led by Adam Scott, a two-time winner of this event.

In the first round, Lee finished with a share of the lead with seven birdies, including four straight on the front nine, before his first and only bogey to start the back nine.

The other two leaders, Scrivener and Lyras, both had similar scorecards with seven birdies and just one bogey to keep pace. Those three will look to ward off a strong group behind them.

Scott had two bogeys on the front nine early, but then hit a groove with six of his seven birdies afterwards to stay in the hunt.

Cameron Smith, another two-time winner, is at three-under-par after four birdies on the front nine and a lone bogey late on the back nine to stay in the hunt for his third championship.
