Two teams who have both won the first week of college football are set to face off in week two as the Furman Paladins take on the No. 5 nationally ranked Clemson Tigers. The Paladins were able to get a massive 52-0 shutout win over North Greenville last week. Tyler Huff threw for 189 yards and two touchdowns through the air while also running five times for 94 yards and another touchdown. Ryan Miller, the team’s tight end, was able to grab 85 yards from Huff while also catching one of his two touchdowns.

The No. 5 ranked Tigers actually fell down the rankings after being ranked No. 4 last week after a 41-10 win over Georgia Tech. Clemson got a massively slow start not indicative by the score with it being 17-10 in the middle of the third quarter. 

D.J. Uiagalelei, who struggled to live up to expectations last season, threw for 209 yards and a touchdown in the season opener. Will Shipley ran 10 times for 42 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
