Tyson drained a 3-pointer with 10.8 seconds remaining on Saturday to boost the Tigers past Virginia Tech 51-50 at Littlejohn Coliseum. Clemson held the Hokies to 24.0% shooting in the second half to rebound from a seven-point deficit early in the period. Hall scored 20 points and Tyson went for 12 points and 10 boards.
The Yellow Jackets led by 11 midway through the first half before Syracuse stormed back to take control with a 17-0 run en route to an 80-63 win at McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta on Saturday. Deebo Coleman had 17 points for Tech while Kelly finished with 13.
Clemson is 76-67 all-time against the Jackets, including a 79-66 win in Atlanta on Dec. 21. Hall went for 25 points and 10 rebounds while Tyson added 14 points and 13 boards. Kelly paced Tech with 17 points.
