The Washington Wizards are playing very good basketball lately, winning four of their last five games. The Wizards lost their last game to the Oklahoma City Thunder but that was by one point. They’ll look to stay above .500 sitting at 8-7 overall and a 5-4 record at home when they host the Miami Heat tonight. Miami is trying to get back to .500, sitting at 7-8. Miami’s three-game winning streak was snapped by Toronto in the team’s previous game. Don’t miss these Southeast division rivals duke it out as they chase the Atlanta Hawks for the division lead tonight.

The Heat weren’t particularly close in their last game losing to the Raptors 112-104. The third quarter really got away from Miami as Toronto went on a 21-0 run. O.G. Anunoby was the standout of the game, scoring a career-high 32 points and 10 rebounds. Jimmy Butler only took eight shots, hitting four of them which was his lowest number of attempts of the season. Tightening up on turnovers and cleaning the glass will help Miami right the ship tonight.

The Wizards should be favored at home tonight even though they are coming off a 121-120 loss to the Thunder. It was a bitter pill to swallow as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hit a game-winning three with just over a second left on the clock. It was Gilgeous-Alexander’s 42-point, which matched a career-high. The Wizards got a standout performance by Kristaps Porzingis with 27 points. Will Washington have enough to close it out against a closely matched divisional opponent tonight?
