The men’s figure skating short program takes center stage on Wednesday afternoon at the ISU European Championships. The competition takes place in Espoo, Finland at the Espoo Metro Arena. The men’s short program kicks off the men’s singles action and is one of four regular categories. The International Skating Union’s ban on Russia and Belarus skaters is still in place and it means that there will be a new men’s singles champion. The men’s field is wide open with standout names such as France’s Adam Siao, Him Fa and Kévin Aymoz, Georgia’s Morisi Kvitelashvili, Latvia’s Deniss Vasiljevs, and Grassl’s teammate Matteo Rizzo all potential medalists.
