In the wake of the announcement that legend Roger Federer is going to retire from competitive tennis this year, the 2022 Laver Cup became a must-watch event. This is not only the last event that Federer is going to participate in, but also an opportunity for him to pair with long-time rival Rafael Nadal in doubles and also play along with Novak Djokovic as the trio of legendary players will all be on the same team.
The Laver Cup will feature Team Europe with that trio, Casper Ruud, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Matteo Berrettini and Cameron Norrie taking on Team World which features Taylor Fritz, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Diego Schwartzman, Frances Tiafoe, Alex de Minaur, Jack Sock and Tommy Paul.

Arguably the three best tennis players of all-time in Federer, Nadal and Djokovic were able to make a special moment practicing together.
In the day session of day one of the 2022 Laver Cup, Ruud takes on Sock, Tsitsipas challenges Schwartzman and Murray faces de Minaur in singles action. All three of those matches could be quarterfinals or even semifinals in any major tournament setting, which is what makes the Laver Cup special.
The main event features Federer and Nadal taking on Sock and Tiafoe as two of the best players in the history of the sport take on two of the young talents.
The action will continue tomorrow and close out on Saturday with the final matches in this fun team based event.
