The Rams have dropped four-straight games and only have one win at home this season, while the Lobos have lost eight-straight contests and are winless on the road (0-5) and in conference play (0-7). Colorado State has won 11-straight games over New Mexico, with the Lobos’s last win coming all the way back in 2009.

Last week, Colorado State fell on the road against Air Force by a final score of 24-12 but the final score made the game look closer than it actually was at Falcon Stadium. Despite throwing for zero net yards in the game, Air Force ran for 359 rushing yards and were up 24-0 before the Rams closed the gap late in the second half.

As for New Mexico, San Diego State cruised to a 24-10 victory over New Mexico on senior night in Albuquerque. The Lobos started freshman quarterback C.J. Montes with starter Justin Holaday unavailable due to injury. Montes finished the game with 112 passing yards on 15-of-23 passing, and will start again for the Lobos this week.
