They went on the road for the first time last week to take on a power-five conference team in Arizona and walked away with their first loss of the season, 31-28. Cam Miller is NDSU’s leading passer with 331 yards and five touchdowns this season. Running back Hunter Luepke leads the team in rushing and receiver with 183 yards on the ground on 25 attempts and 87 yards through the air on five receptions. He has six touchdowns total.

The Coyotes have had an exactly opposite start to their season. They started off with two games on the road losing to Kansas State 34-0 and then Montana 24-7. They got their first win last week against Cal Poly 38-21. 

South Dakota’s Carson Camp has thrown for 613 yards and three touchdowns through three games. Travis Theis has rushed a whopping 55 times for 234 yards and just two touchdowns already.
