The Indiana Pacers look to extend their winning streak to three games when they travel to Houston to take on the Rockets. The Pacers have a chance to build over .500 and they are playing well recently winning four of their last five. They’ll have a good chance of building on this run even on the road tonight. That is because the Rockets are in rebuilding mode winning only three games this season. While they are last in the Western Conference, they are coming off an impressive win against their in-state rivals, the Dallas Mavericks.

It must be noted that the 101-92 Rockets win came with Luka Doncic sitting out for the Mavericks. Still, the Mavs are a championship contender and the young Rockets lineup broke a three-game losing streak in the process. Kevin Porter Jr. nearly got a triple-double and scored 17 points. The Rockets turnovers were an issue outpacing Dallas 23-6 but they made up for it with their rebounding. They’ll have to cut down on the turnovers to win back-to-back games for the first time this season.

The Pacers continued their strong run by easily handling the similarly struggling Charlotte Hornets. Indiana won 125-113 as Tyrese Haliburton led the team with 22 points. LaMelo Ball led Charlotte with 26 points but re-injured his ankle by accidentally stepping on the foot of a fan. The Pacers won’t slow down right now and should be favored in this one.
