That victory put the Brewers in lockstep for the top spot in the division. It’s a narrow race to the top of the NL Central. The Brewers also find themselves right on the edge of the wild-card race as well. Can they regain some ground on Saturday by taking on the Reds again at American Family Field? The game starts at 7:15, with coverage beginning at 7:00 on FOX.

Heading into Saturday’s MLB slate, the Brewers are tied with the Cardinals at the top of the NL Central with St. Louis holding the tiebreaker. They’re also tied with the Phillies for the third and final Wild Card spot in the NL.

The Brewers will send Aaron Ashby to the mound on Saturday. In his last outing last Sunday, the lefty didn’t allow a run in four-and-one-third innings against the Red Sox while striking out six hitters.

Cincinnati will counter with one of the top pitching prospects in baseball, lefty Nick Lodolo. The seventh overall pick in 2019, Lodolo made his MLB debut earlier this year. In eight total starts he has a 4.23 ERA while piling up 54 strikeouts in 38-and-one-third innings.
