In their first leg of a back-to-back, the Sabres behind a third period goal from Victor Olofsson and an overtime game-winner by Owen Power earned a 3-2 victory over the Stars on Monday night. Olofsson has now scored in four-straight games, bringing his season total to 22 goals.

As for St. Louis, the Blues fell at home in a disappointing 5-3 loss to the Blackhawks on Saturday night. Jordan Kyrou, Ivan Barbashev, and Nick Leddy scored the goals for the Blues, who battled back from a 3-0 deficit to pull within one goal in the third period. Ultimately, Max Domi’s goal gave the Blackhawks a two-goal lead to seal the win.

The Blues will host the Buffalo Sabres at the Enterprise Center on Tuesday night in St. Louis.
