For the second time this week, John Brebbia (6-2, 2.86 ERA) will open the game on the mound for the Giants as Gabe Kapler has opted to use multiple pitchers to open games in limited roles.

Brebbia has made seven starts this season and 63 appearances in relief and has only allowed one earned run in his last seven appearances, totaling six-and-two-thirds innings pitched. On Tuesday, Brebbia struck out two of the four batters he faced as the Giants went on to win 6-3.

Jose Urena (3-6, 5.49 ERA) will get the start for the home-standing Rockies. Urena is looking for his first win in four September starts having last earned a win on August 30 in Atlanta.
