In the 138th installment of “The Game” between the longtime Ivy League rivals, Yale and Harvard wrap up their regular seasons with a showdown in Cambridge on Saturday. Yale enters its rivalry game on a three-game winning streak to improve to 7-2 overall and 5-1 in the Ivy League this season. The Bulldogs’ only two losses have come on the road this season. Harvard, on the other hand, is now 6-3 overall and 4-2 in conference play after a win over Penn last week. The Crimson edged Yale in a 34-31 classic in New Haven last season. The Bulldogs moved into a first-place tie in the Ivy League standings with an impressive 24-20 win over No. 16 Princeton last week.

Princeton quarterback Blake Stenstrom’s 52nd pass of the game fell incomplete in the end zone as time expired to seal the victory for Yale.
As for Harvard, the Crimson cruised to a 37-14 victory over Penn to finish its road slate undefeated. Quarterback Charlie Dean threw three touchdown passes in the first half, giving Harvard a commanding 24-7 lead at the break. Dean went on to set career-highs in touchdowns (four), completions (29), and yards (316) in the win.
Yale will now play “The Game” against Harvard with a chance to win the Ivy League championship on Saturday.
