The final content update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is scheduled for release on December 6th

Ubisoft provides an overview of the final content update in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

The action role-playing video game, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, by Ubisoft, was first released on several gaming platforms in November 2020. Since then, it has gained more than 20 million players worldwide. It is the twelfth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and was set out to provide an authentic Viking experience of Eivor and the Raven Clan in ninth-century England.

Recently, Ubisoft announced that the final content update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is set to be released on December 6th. In addition, this would mark the completion of two amazing years of post-launch support. The title update 1.6.2 will offer a variety of exciting new content for the game, one of which is titled “The Last Chapter,” serving as a poignant end to Eivor’s saga. This epilogue will conclude some of the narratives that have developed throughout the game and provide closure for the player’s stay with the Raven Clan. To access The Last Chapter, players will need to complete the following key parts of the game:

  • Complete the main storyline by pledging to all territories of England.
  • Complete the mythical story arcs of Asgard and Jotunheim.
  • Upgrade your settlement to level 5 and construct the Jomsviking barracks.
  • Kill all targets of the Order of the Ancients and unveil its leader.

Furthermore, with Valhalla’s post-launch coming to an end, Ubisoft will no longer be running the time-limited festival events in Ravensthorpe. Nonetheless, rewards from past festivals will be available at all merchants located throughout England upon completing the quest ‘The First Night of Samhain‘ (Glowecestrescire arc). Unfortunately, Ubisoft also confirmed that there will be no New Game+ feature.

Meanwhile, a new option will be added to the in-game options menu, giving players the chance to always keep their hood equipped, even when taking off Eivor’s cloak. This change is purely cosmetic, and it will not affect gameplay or detection in any way. However, it will provide players with more options to tailor their experience to their preferences. Visit the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla page on the Ubisoft website if you want to get more information about the final content.
