Once the core group got here collectively, the band started practising with the assistance of Rubaru members and the help of lecturers.

“We practise every day and the sessions will continue till the Foundation Day event. We are a new group but it cannot be an excuse to perform poorly. So, we are working hard to put across a good show,” mentioned Simanti Prakash.

The group is engaged on a medley of previous songs and in addition a particular piece for his or her first efficiency.

“The band is a work in progress but they have come a long way in the past one week. The girls support each other and that helps improve their performance. I am confident that the students will not miss the performance of Rubaru at the Foundation Day event,” mentioned a college member.
